I bumped into a problem after accidently enabling HSTS for a web site on localhost. This was not a problem for the unique web site that was operating in IIS and had a certificates configured. However after I tried to run an Angular app a little bit bit in a while http://localhost:4200
the browser redirected me instantly to https://localhost
.
Whoops! That was not what I wished on this case.
To repair it, you should go the community settings of your browser, there can be found at:
- chrome://net-internals/#hsts
- edge://net-internals/#hsts
- courageous://net-internals/#hsts
Enter ‘localhost’ within the area textbox underneath the Delete area safety insurance policies part and hit Delete.
That ought to do the trick…
