Whereas Intel hasn’t confirmed something but, it seems Chipzilla shall be dropping it’s iconic “i” CPU branding – and including a brand new moniker. There’s no indication as to what the “Extremely” moniker means but. Might this be the successor to Intel’s “Xe Max” graphics moniker? We’ll have to attend till this fall when Intel reveals extra details about it’s upcoming subsequent era chips to seek out out extra.

I concur with Dylan’s assesment right here. Whereas Intel is in want of a rebrand – a theoretical Intel i9 19950K can be a mouthful – dropping the “i” within the Core branding looks as if a reactionary transfer by Intel in an try and distance themselves from Apple.
