JDK 20, the reference implementation of Java 20, is now Typically Obtainable. We shipped construct 36 because the second Launch Candidate of JDK 20 on 13 February, and no P1 bugs have been reported since then. Construct 36 is due to this fact now the GA construct, prepared for manufacturing use. GPL-licensed OpenJDK builds from Oracle can be found right here: https://jdk.java.net/20 Builds from different distributors will little doubt be accessible quickly. This launch contains seven JEPs [1], all in numerous phases of incubation and preview: 429: Scoped Values (Incubator) 432: Document Patterns (Second Preview) 433: Sample Matching for change (Fourth Preview) 434: Overseas Operate & Reminiscence API (Second Preview) 436: Digital Threads (Second Preview) 437: Structured Concurrency (Second Incubator) 438: Vector API (Fifth Incubator) together with lots of of smaller enhancements and 1000's of bug fixes.
